Listed below is a link to the NOAA Solar Flux Index. The Kp observations (vertical graph) allows the observer to take a reading of the D,E,F1,&F2 layers of the Ionosphere. The Kp index is updated every 3 hours. If you operate HF, you must keep track of solar emissions and atmospheric conditions.
